In a company like mine with no employees, it’s easy I have my mission and my mission statement and life up to that. I benefit from it.

In a small company like my twin brother’s with 6 employees, it’s easy he has his mission and his mission statement and shared it with his employees. If he benefits from it, they will as well.

In a middle company like my brother’s with almost a 100 employees. It’s difficult he has his mission and his mission statement. His board has their mission and their mission statements. His sales managers have got their mission and their mission statement. If he benefits from it, they’ll maybe benefit from it to. If the board benefits from it, he’ll maybe benefit from it to. If the sales manager benefit from it, the board maybe will benefit from it to.

In a big company like my dad’s with almost 600 employees. It’s very difficult he has his mission and his mission statement. His investors, his board of directors, his board, his head of sales, his head of staff, etc they all got a different mission and a different mission statement.

My advice: “Share your idea, your mission and your mission statement of the company, not with difficult powerpoints or keynote presentations with a lot of graphics but with easy to understand targets”. Leave the graphical parts to the board of directors, the sales staff, etc.

And don’t make it bullet points, make each slide big with only 1 idea (1 sentence it would be even better 1 word) at a time.

So just before the start of each financial year. Give a speech not to your investors, board of directors, board, head of sales, head of staff. But for the entire company.

Give a speech, where they have the feeling point 1 they all matter because they do, point 2 they all share a greater cause and your mission within the company.

I’ll even give you the words, you’ll need to use them that everybody can understand your Mission for the next Year. EGDE, on the edge of a new year.
